TERRAIN
Typical Mediterranean terrain, generally of two different types:

1.- Coast areas (La Marina and Guardamar): Sand dunes, of which about 70% is covered by pine forest. Soft relief with numerous contour details. Altitude 0 - 25 m above sea level.

2.- Inland areas (Biar and Tibi): Hard, stony ground with low vegetation that can limit the running speed. 60% of the terrain is covered by pine forest, while parts are cultivated. Moderately detailed hillsides with some deep, steep gullies. Altitude 800 - 1.000 m (Biar) and 650 - 725 (Tibi) above sea level.

3. Tibi: All terrain within 4 km of the centre of Tibi, except within existing orienteering maps.
